___________________________  Starters  $5

Mast Khiyar -  a mixture of freshly diced cucumbers, yogurt, raisins, walnuts, and fresh herbs.

Shirazi Salad -  Combination of freshly diced cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, & parsley with Rumi’s citrus dressing.

Dolmeh -  freshly mixed ground beef, rice, and mild herbs hand wrapped in grape vine leaves and simmered in a zesty sweet and sour pomegranate sauce.

Kashk Badenjoon -  a blend of sautéed eggplant and onion topped with a Persian cream of whey, crispy fried onion, and mint.

Rumi’s Dip -  a blend of pureed chickpeas, sesame tahini, & garlic mixed with olive oil & lemon juice.

___________________________  Salads

Chicken Salad -  Boneless cuts of chicken breast marinated in lemon saffron sauce, charbroiled on skewers and served on a bed of fresh mixture of seasonal greens, sliced tomato, cucumber, red onion, and Rumi’s dressing. $10

Salmon Salad -  Fresh filet of salmon fire roasted in the wood oven grill and served on a bed of fresh mixture of seasonal greens, sliced tomato, cucumber, red onion, and Rumi’s dressing.  $11

___________________________  Sandwiches

Koobideh -  A juicy strip of seasoned ground chuck charbroiled and wrapped in a freshly baked flat bread with a mixture of diced tomatoes, onions, Persian pickles, parsley, and a touch of Rumi’s dressing.   $8

Chicken -  Juicy cuts of marinated boneless chicken breast charbroiled and wrapped in a freshly baked flat bread with a mixture of diced tomatoes, onions, Persian pickles, parsley, and a touch of Rumi’s dressing.   $9

Chinjeh Kabob -  marinated cuts of sirloin charbroiled and served as an open-faced sandwich on freshly baked flat bread with a side of Mast Mousir.   $10

___________________________  Stews

Ghormeh Sabzi -  sautéed vegetables slow cooked in a special veal stew with red kidney beans and Persian dry lime, served with a side of saffron Basmati rice.  $9

Bodenjoon -  pan fried eggplant slow cooked on a special tomato based veal stew, served with a side of saffron Basmati rice.  $9

Lamb Shank -  slow cooked lamb shank seasoned to perfection and served with saffron Basmati rice mixed with dill weed and fava beans.  $10

___________________________  Kabobs

Koobideh Kabob -  two juicy strips of seasoned ground chuck charbroiled and served on a bed of saffron Basmati rice.  $9

Barg Kabob -  specially marinated strips of tenderloin charbroiled and served on a bed of saffron Basmati rice.   $13

Soltani Kabob -  combination of Koobideh Kobab and Barg Kobab served on a bed of saffron Basmati rice.  $14

Lamb Kabob -  boneless cuts of lamb marinated in a mint yogurt sauce charbroiled and served on a bed of saffron Basmati rice mixed with lentils, and raisins.  $13

Chicken Kabob -  boneless cuts of chicken breast marinated in a lemon saffron sauce, charbroiled on skewers and served on a bed of saffron Basmati rice.  $11

About Rumi's Kitchen Persian Restaurant:
Finally, Authentic Persian Cuisine has returned to Atlanta. Chef Ali Mesghali is bringing his unique and flavorful touch to the newest city in Georgia. Ali has been cooking up amazing dishes for over 20 years. His latest venture, Rumi’s Kitchen opened January 12 on Roswell Road in the heart of Sandy Springs.

Ali has been around Persian Food all of his life; in fact his father originally brought Authentic Iranian food to Atlanta. Ali formerly wowed the region as the co-owner and head chef of Persepolis, a Sandy Springs favorite. According to Ali, “This type of food is my life; I have grown up preparing it. My experience combined with great service and a comfortable atmosphere will make Rumi’s Kitchen a place people will want to visit again and again.”
